LUXURY LANDSCAPING
A Contemporary Modern Luxury Outdoor Build in El Dorado Hills, CA
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Bringing Los Angeles Luxury Into Hidden Ridge
This El Dorado Hills contemporary modern project transformed a blank backyard and basic developer-installed front yard into a polished luxury outdoor build. The design focused on creating a high-end Los Angeles feel with clean finishes, bold entry details, sports-focused function, and a front and backyard experience that stood out in the community.
This $250K build included a synthetic turf strip driveway, grand tile entryway, marble-faced raised planters, strip light accents on entry steps, a dual-striped badminton turf sports court, a tiled California room, electric-powered drop screens, and tropical-style planting suited for a non-tropical zone. The result is an elegant outdoor space with strong curb appeal, refined detail, and everyday function.
Completed a $250K outdoor build in El Dorado Hills designed with bold entry details, refined finishes, and a luxury Los Angeles feel.
01 – Turf Driveway & Grand Tile Entry
Building the Turf Strip Driveway and Tile Entryway
The front yard was upgraded with a synthetic turf strip driveway that gave the home a cleaner, more custom arrival experience. This detail added contrast, structure, and a polished contemporary look before guests even reached the front door.
A grand tile entryway created a stronger first impression and helped set the luxury tone for the rest of the property. The entry was designed to feel bold, refined, and aligned with the high-end Los Angeles style the homeowners wanted.
02 – Raised Planters & Entry Lighting
Installing Marble-Faced Planters and Step Lighting
Marble-faced raised planters added architectural detail and a more elevated finish to the front and backyard. These planters helped frame the landscape while giving the outdoor areas a clean, upscale look.
Strip light accents on the entry steps added a sleek modern detail and improved the home’s presence after sunset. The lighting made the entry feel more dramatic while also improving visibility and flow.
03 – Sports Court & Turf Features
Adding the Dual-Striped Badminton Turf Court
The backyard included a dual-striped badminton turf sports court that added a fun, functional feature without disrupting the refined design. It gave the outdoor space a dedicated activity zone while keeping the surface clean and low-maintenance.
The turf layout helped balance everyday usability with the luxury look of the overall build. This made the backyard feel practical for recreation while still matching the polished contemporary style of the property.
THE TRANSFORMATION
Before & After
